I thought I'd bring this to the attention of the Blender users here. This free addon for Blender Eevee render engine allows you to create "screen space" global illumination in real-time using the Eevee render engine. This means things like color bleed, light bouncing, and other effects that were previously only possible with true path tracing in Cycles can be reproduced, to some extent, in real-time. No, it's not going to look exactly as good as real path tracing in Cycles, but the results seem pretty close under some circumstances, and almost indistinguishable in others. This is something that is also being used in popular game engines like Unreal Engine 4. Perfect for animators who wish to cut render times down to mere seconds.

I don't know if the addon will be free forever, or if it's only free now for a limited time while in beta, but so far it seems to work very well.

That looks great, wolf359! I have a few ideas for it too. Working on a motion graphics scene using it. I'll let you guys know how that turns out.
