Purchased an item from Renderosity to import into Daz Studio, NO IDEA why it's not showing up after I open Zip file in DAZ. Sorry to be so naive, anyone know how to make this easier to find, or where to download file to so it shows up and works in DAZ? Thanks - Ski

You need to extract the files from within the zip into your DAZStudio Library. What purchase did you make from Rendo and the steps you attempted to get it into DS? And is this a fresh install of DS?

Thanks for your reply, awesome pic of Superman btw! And Yeah it's a fresh install onto my new computer, and when I extract the zip files does the whole file go straight into DAZStudio Library, or do I need to be looking for a certain file to install first?

Yes, everything should go into the DAZStudio Library if the zip is set up in its conventional hierarchy. The Library folder on a fresh install of DS is called 'My Library' located within DAZ 3D>Studio. Which OS are you running on your machine? Also, what is the name of the Renderosity content are you attempting to install? I would like to take a look at the webpage read me file, it will give me some insight on how the zip is constructed and the files within. If you could provide a screencap of the zip content, I can see what's going on.

Make sure the zip hasn't added an extra Content, My Library, or My Daz 3d Library folder inside your content directory - if it has you need tot ake everything out of that (the Data, Runtime, and other folders) and plae it in the actual content directory (where it should merge with the existing folders). Also, bear in mind that manually installed content will appear only in the Content Library under Daz Studio Formats>content directory name, it won't appear in any of the category or product views.

If the purchase is from Renderosity, I shouldn't expect to see a content folder in the zip file. That is a proprietory setup that appears in DAZ only zips that is installed through DIM or DAZ Central apps. But the other 2 folders that RHaseltine mentions could exist.
