Hi, I just downloaded the free trail and was wanting to make hand stimuli for an experiment. When I go to the library it shows zero content for hand images. I was wondering if someone can help me. Is this because of the free trial?![Screen Shot 2020-09-11 at 11.09.12 PM.png] Screen Shot 2020-10-16 at 10.45.17 PM.png

I think so, yes. Trial version comes with minimal content.

BTW The paid version does not come with many hand poses either. Hand poses from other figures translate badly. Most rapid solution is to buy a hand poses set for LaFemme in the shop.

Oh okay, so these are the hand stimulus one of the studies that I am referencing used. They said they created it with poser? Do you know if i can create these?

I don't mind buying the hand figures, would they be in these orientations? And can you send me a link to the package i can buy?

Are you looking for poses or hand objects?

I am looking for hand poses. I know there are options to buy hand poses but they are in different orientations. I need the following orientations in that image.

Which figure are you looking for them for? Different figures use different poses, especially in hands.

I am not looking for a figure. I just need hand poses for an experiment. I have an attached a picture, trying to make something similar to that Screen Shot 2020-10-17 at 6.16.44 PM.png

You have to have a figure in the scene to use poses, either a full character or the hand figure (under addition figures) that comes with poser, though I don't know if it is included in the free version. Structure gave an example of how in your other post.

To use a hand pose, or create one, you need a hand in the scene. While poser does come with a few loose hands, I'm not sure if they're included with the free trial. You will need to load a person into the scene and use their hand. I believe Lafemme is the default person. You can then move the camera so only the hand shows as you want it.

Okay, how would i then save only the hand image and not the whole figure?

I assume you just want a 2d image. Once you have the required image in your document window, you RENDER the image and poser will do this and create a thumbnail of the image you have in your document window.

Now right click on the thumbnail and this gives you the option to export in a range of formats , jpg, png etc

I think he wants a hand model, it is not so hard, you can have a static hand model and turn it around so it you can render it in the same positions as the pictures.
