Using Poser 11.3.818, my Parameters/Properties Palette periodically freezes and won't allow me to spin the dials or enter values for any of the parameters. Everything else seems to work, I can still select objects but can't change anything. I'm running Windows 10, the newest build, just upgraded yesterday but was having this problem for several months before that, off and on. Anybody else having this problem? Any idea what to do about it? I often work with very large PZ3 files, so having to save, close and reopen a lot would be a big problem. The file it just happened to me on today is NOT very large - just an empty courtroom scene with several objects and one figure, so it's not the size of the file causing this.

There is a way to throw out preffs and Poser makes new ones the next time you open it up. Sometimes these preffs files can get corrupted so that is why you'd want to do this. Location of your preffs (I think)

I can't rmember which ones you want to toss but you should save them in a folder somewhere as old preffs or the like before opening Poser.

Worth a try. I've done that before, but it's been years. I know there were instructions on doing it, which files to delete, etc. on Poser's website. Have to see if I can find that. The Parameters/Properties Palette has now locked up for the third time today and this needs to stop.

I think Poser UI Prefs would be the one to rename first.
I've formed the habit of keeping a folder next to the '11' folder, containing the last good versions of all the files there. When the palettes get weird, I can just copy everything from the 'saved' folder into the '11' folder.

Right-click on the Poser shortcut and under Compatibility add a checkmark to "Disable desktop composition" then click Apply. It does speed things up for me but I have an older version of Poser... and Windows7 64-bit not 10.
