After installind the DSO importer for Poser (DSON_Importer_for_Poser_1.2.0.12_Win64) I get an error: (An errror occurred importing addon dson : ERROR: DLL load failed: Das angegebene Modul wurde nicht gefunden.) at startup from Poser 12. How to repair it? The deinstall didn't resolve the problem

ΓΆooks like DSON Importer is for Poser Pro 2012-Poser Pro 2014. Which means that it's for python 2.7, not for python 3.7 such as in Poser 12. Maybe Daz will update it. Did you asked them'

As far as DAZ is concerned further development or updating of the DSON Importer is done. Don't expect a version that will work with P12 unless someone decompiles and corrects the known issues. And that is granted that DAZ will allow a working version to be distributed without their okay.

The DSON importer comes with a .pyd python file that doesn't seem to be "uncompyle"-able

I have Poser 11 installed. I had to install that DSON file when I got Poser 11. After I read this, I went to Poser 12 and tried to load M4 into Poser 12. He loaded fine. With no error. I also loaded his morphs++. And then I went and applied one of his textures. I did not install DSON into Poser 12. It didn't ask me to. If M4 needs it then it must have used the one from the Poser 11 install. Everything loaded quickly too.

DSON was never needed for the Generation 4 figures as ghostship2 posted, they existed way before DSON was created to import Genesis figures into Poser.

For clarification, M4 and V4 with all their cousins of Stephanies and Freaks of 4th gen etc., do not need DSON. They were fully functional and compatible with Poser when they were originally released and they work fine with all Poser versions, although naturally textures need work in P12's Superfly.

The importer is needed for Genesis figures. I got a lot of them as Genesis 2 (Victoria 6 etc.) in Poser 11 the importer stil worked. With poser 12 not. Now the figures are loaded but the morphs and poses not. So luckly I still have Poser 11 running. I hope there will be a solution for this problem. Now it feels like I spend a lot of money for a program that doesn't work with my main figures. The question is which module can't be found and how too get over this error.

Hello, I had a similar message on start up and,on the suggestion of Structure and Jimmy1 , I opened the following: Pose 12>Runtime> python> Poserscriipts> Addons and deleted the file related to DSON. I also did this for any imported runtimes particularly those from 'My DAZ Sudio' (I used to get three identical messages in the same window). The messages no longer appear.
Most of my DAZ purchases work OK but not the Genesis figures.

Hello, again, To clarify, in the above (@4404039) I should have written 'My DAZ 3D libraries' not 'My DAZ Studio' Sorry about that!
