If any of you are thinking of visiting the UK then forget about Buckingham Palace, Big Ben and Westminster Abbey. Drive north folks to the Lake District in the north west of England. Paradise. But Marshy, I thought New Zealand & Oz were always hot, Sunny & Summer Bay type places....can't remember anyone dressing up warm in Erinsbrough....?!? Jack, it's only a week since I was there & I'm missing it already! It's only about 2-2 hrs drive for me, so I'll be back there a bit more this summer! Brilliant pics, btw. I like the kaleidescope jobbies!

Parts of Australia are always sunny and hot but not here in NZ, not at all. And I live in probably the coldest part of the North Island too - but it's worse down south though! :-) Anyhoo, nothing compared to Norway, where I'm from, and going back to in just 5 little weeks. At least it will be summer there.

i'm flying to London on the 15th of June with my daughter Gennie, in route to Kenya. we would only be in town a day i'm sorry to say. i would like take you up on your suggestion and see your part of the country. maybe next time.
