I've stuck with 2016 xStream and only know a few things about the later subscription-only version.

  1. Vue still imports scenes from Poser. If it will continue to load a Poser 12 scene, when Poser 12 final is released... who can say?
  2. The UI has changed quite a lot.
  3. Plant Factory now seems to come along with Vue(?).
  4. Like Daz Studio, Vue R5 (Subscription) won't run on the current Apple Mac OS ('Big Sur').
  5. It has a new module that enables you to grab a terrain from any part of the Earth, make it a mesh and drop a satellite texture on it. Quite how hi-res either the mesh or the photo is, I don't know.

I'd also be interested to find a list of new post-subscription additions and speed-ups (if any).

I had the new version of the artists' Vue (now called Vue Creator) in the first year it came out, and that does come as a package with plant factory. The UI has been changed quite a bit, and I personally found it slower to use and less intuitive. Renders are a little bit faster, but I had trouble using the preview render as it was optimised for newer software than is on my graphics card, and updating the card caused problems with my older applications such as Vue 10 and Bryce, so I had to back the updates out. I think the price for Creator and Plant Factory together is good, but I don't know whether you get Plant Factory if you opt for Infinite. I did not renew at the end of the first year, mainly because of the graphics card problems. I would recommend getting the software on a 30 day trial, if they are still offering that option, before you decide.

I download it from the link they give me but, after installation it display a message saying i have 0 days lefts for the trial...so no trial ..so i hesitate I reply to Bentley about it and wait .If i see enough gain for new version i will buy it....

Martial, contact their support. Support is provided by Bentley Software. You can use this link on e-on software's site:

to describe your problem. I had similar problems with licence keys not working and having 0 days on my paid-for versions of Vue, and their support was pretty good, but you do need to describe the issue in detail. They did get back to me pretty quickly on most the issues I raised, and apart from the graphics card issue, the problems were all satisfactorily resolved. If you didn't receive a licence key for the trial version you probably need one, and they have forgotten to send it. If you did get one, it may be out of date or the wrong one for your version, so get onto them and they will give you some help.

Martial, I'm afraid I've deleted the download that contained my trial version of Creator, and I don't remember whether that included a key or not. If you don't get an answer from Bentley support in the next day or so, all I can suggest is to try their sales contact page instead:

https://info.e-onsoftware.com/sales-support

Tell them you're interested in buying and have the trial version but it's not working. Ask them if you need a key. They are salesmen so with any luck they will give the support department a hard time until they answer you!
