I've been doing tutorials to relearn how to use Bryce. I followed a simple replication tutorial and it works fine. During one of David Brinnen's tutorials on replication he said that you can click on Instances in multi replication and save a lot of memory. When I click in multi replication and select instances, nothing happens. Now I'm confused if it's a bug or I've done something wrong.

BryceHoro and David Brinnen actually helped me find the answer to this question. Seems that Bryce primitives can not be instanced. There is no need to instance them because they use up almost no memory. You can replicate them instead with hardly any memory usage. I was directed to this large study tutorial on instancing. Just started reading it, will take a while. https://horo.ch/docs/guests/pdf/InstancingLab_Kine_magiK.pdf

I had went back some months ago to BryceHoro and David Brinnen's various tutorials and learned things that were new to me, things that I should have paid attention to WAY back then, lol. They are both just SO full of info.

Lol, have to laugh because that's me. I learned what I needed to to make the images that I wanted, mostly figures close up. Now I'm making landscapes. I never learned to use the cloud planes and matrix. I never learned to use the deep material editor. Horo (bryceHoro) at Daz has been awesome at helping and David's tutorials on YouTube are my new TV. He even answers if you ask him something. Blessed to have great communities.
