Please help. Although it is POSER12.0.323, it can be rendered well on the CPU, but the background image cannot be rendered on the GPU.3.jpg

I could get an imported background to render with the image (GPU) but could not get the render dimensions to match the background image. I've never used render over background in that way so I'm probably the wrong guy to ask. What I do is load an HDRI onto the background in the mat room and use it as the lighting for the scene. Make sure you make the construct invisible in your hierarchy. backgroun lighting.jpg background lighting 2.jpg

I was surprised that what I could do with POSER 12.0.306 can no longer be done with POOSER 12.0.332. This isn't just my symptom, so I hope it will be cured someday.

There at P12.0.340.

I only see Beta P12.0.336 at this point and again that is beta so not something everyone has access too.

import background works and renders in both CPU and GPU on Beta 12.0.327. I'll load the latest beta and test.

Beta 12.0.336 imports and renders background image just fine. Tested CPU, OPTIXGPU, GPU. no problems encountered. This issue must be with your specific machine or setup.

I don't know why Beta has a lower number than working copy of Poser 12. I'll have to ask.

I confirmed that background images can also be rendered with POSER 12.0.340. Thank you for your quick fix.1_Original.jpg

@ghostship2 The build number keeps incrementing each day/build, even if nothing is changed. So we may have 336 and when it is posted to the public it gets the newer number. At least that is how it was explained to me.
