I was ready to purchase it after I downloaded it, but I stopped ...why? Because I would like to know if P12 is worth it...I hadn't used Poser in a long time P5 then purchased P11...so please do tell. I haven't gotten myself anything for Christmas. And this may just be it...so thoughts? I ve been reading some of the posts, but have not seen an answer to my question as of yet.

You might be interested in the the 21-day free trial option on the Poser 12 Registration page to evaluate the new features. You will need to install first. You can run Poser 11 and Poser 12 side-by-side on same computer.
Most folks appreciate the improved render speeds, even on CPU-only renders.

As Tim said, you can try before you buy. Whether it's "worth it" really depends on you. Try it and see.
If you have any specific questions about what's different or what improvements you're hoping for, ask away. I'm sure people here will be happy to answer.

Thank you for your responses. I will try to find the trial. I only saw where it asked for serial number but it was late. Ill look again

The trial is the same installer. If you leave out the serial number it will turn into the trial version

Ive been exploring and playing around for the past few days. Trying different dials and setting when I render. Although I was not great using Poser, I see that its more the same program just a much better character, being LaFemme. Well, then too, I have a ton of time before going back to work. Im enjoying it though. Thank you, now to try working on some poses...
