Hi there in the forum,
maybe someone can help me. I am using Poser Pro 11 pro, and have a new problem since yesterdey. First of all: I haven‘t changed anything in the whole set up. I am a quite experienced user but not an expert. The problem is - especially with Victoria 4, that poser „ freezes“ for about 5 Seconds when I change between the figures or commands. After that freeze it works again. That is horrible for the workflow. I think the program needs time to load something and the delay in the past was there but o.k. 1 Second or so. But now: Click wait.....click.....wait.....click...wait. Maybe somebody knows that issue and can help me with it Thank you so muchh Regards Offie

Sometimes windows updates mess up Poser a lot. You didn't state if you were on a PC or MAC, but that's been my experience.

Both joker2000 and myself have had an issue with KB4601319 impacting performance (maybe in my case KB4601050 too). If you're a Windows 10 user its worth checking if you've received the KB4601319 patch and if it coincided with the loss in performance.

Im running into this too. It has affected all versions of Poser that I have...except for Poser Pro 7 (ironically). I'm also on Windows 10 and removed every update that I could, but it didn't help. I do not see any of the 3 updates on my system that you mentioned above (KB4601319, KB4601050, KB4601319), unless its one of these that show no number:
Uninstalled with no affect:
Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 x64 Redistributable (KB2565063)
Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 x86 Redistributable (KB2565063)
Feature Update to Windows 10 21H1 viea Enablement Package (KB5000736)
Update for (KB2504637) - MS .NET Framework 4 Multi-Trageting Pack
Update for Microsoft Windows (KB4584229)
Update for Microsoft Windows (KB5003254)
Update for Microsoft Windows (KB4601554)
Not Uninstall (Option is disabled/hidden):
Security Update for Adoble Acrobat X (10.1.1)
Security Update for Adobe Flash Player
Security Update for Microsoft Windows (KB4566785)
Security Update for Microsoft Windows (KB4570334)
Security Update for Microsoft Windows (KB4593175)
Security Update for Microsoft Windows (KB5003173) (allowed, but fails with error)
Servicing Stack 10.0.19041.985
Update for Microsfot Windows (KB4565627)
Update for Removal of Adobe Flash Player
Hope it gets fixed soon. On Windows 7 I am not having any slow down issues.

Probably not seeing KB4601319 because it's been further updated no fewer than 11 times. At least according to the MS updates site. The following updates superseded KB4601319
So good luck figuring out how to roll that back. Thanks Microsoft.

Might not be exactly the same thing, but this click... wait 1sec ... move happened to me to. I'd click on a body part and had to wait a sec before it moved.
The solution for me was to reset Poser's Launch To... option to factory scene in the General Preferences (Ctrl+K). Maybe it will work for you too Offie.

It's as much as 30 seconds (or more) once I've injected morphs. Whether it's selecting another object in the scene or selecting a camera, trying to change a parameter or rotate or move a camera. Creating poses and setting up dynamic cloth simulations is painful.
However, I am glad to know it's not an problem with my installs, but a Windows update problem. But, if we have to wait until Microsoft fixes whatever the update broke, we could be waiting a really, really long time.
Is Bondware checking into it?
Sadly, resetting to factory scene seemed to be a temporary fix

Something else that can impact on your PCs performance, believe it or not, is dust.
We like to keep our house clean and tidy but - particularly having cats - dust is a fact of life. I take my computer apart every few months and give it a clean, removing dust that's collected around the fans and heatsinks and so on. As you probably know, the hotter a computer gets, the slower it runs.
If any of you are still silly enough to smoke - I quit 10 years ago - you'll find a lot of sticky stuff in there, too, which is really unpleasant.
May not necessarily make Poser run faster but it will do your computer a huge favour.
Obviously, you can ignore all the above if you have a sealed, cryo cooled machine. :)
