Hi all

It's not a question, but rather an information.

I have almost stopped using Poser's search function.

I prefer Everything, a free tool ("donationware" in fact), to search for everything, literally. It can also search with the files' content, but it's something I do, let's say, once a year, the rest of the time I'm looking for a file/folder, knowing only part of its name.

And it's instantaneous.

Just in case. Happy week-end, full of pics... :smile;

Thanks for the tip. Someone mentioned everything a while back and I got it then. I don't use it so much to replace poser's search function, but windows'. I do find it useful to help me find files that poser can't find.

Example: I've defined a search filter specific to Poser's mats files:

Add to your bookmarks the root folder of your runtimes, and you'll find your desired mat setting a lot faster than Poser's search function.

Isn't the actual name of the app 'Search Everything'? If it is, I remember BB mentioning it quite a while back. Thanks for the info, I have it installed but haven't used it extensively yet.

It may have changed its name, I don't know, as it's new for me...

Very cool program. I have to play with it more. I've never set up specific filters.
