I've been playing around with VRML, since it's a great toy... I got some of the freeware tools from apple.com, the main one I am using is QT3D to QTVR, basically, it takes a 3DMF (a supported export format of C), and it does all the rotations for you. However, this one model I'm trying to QTVR is not working....I can get it to make a QTVR, but the 3DMF has lost most of its detail - the texture maps are lost, as are the layered shaders; it just exports the 3DMF as flat colors. I exported a 3DMF previously, and the textures were aplied properly, but for some reason, now they are not. If anyone has any experience with exporting 3DMFs, I'd appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks! Nebula Supernova Studios

I have no experience with this but would like to play around with it. One thing I recall reading at the Apple site is that the objects need to be smaller sized files. Perhaps your file size has reached the limit (whatever that is). You may also want to check the PanoTools available at: http://www.fh-furtwangen.de/~dersch/ These are great tools to goof -around with.
