I know that if you load the scene after saving it with VWD prop in the scene the material won't save. Is there a way to re-apply for batch rendering?

Hello,

Excuse me to reply so late.

I never tried to use VWD Scenes in batch rendering. For me, Daz3D does not save the materials because they are applied by script. Perhaps you can do a very simple modification in the material and reset the material to the same settings before to save the scene. In this case, Daz3D will see a material modified in the Daz Studio interface and it will save the material correctly.

I will do some tests and I will reply to you as soon as possible.

I've found a way around it not being saved from a previous post by duplicating the node. Appreciate the attempted help, hope you have a good day!

Hello,

If you want to save a .DUF scene with a VWD dynamic actor and with the correct materials, you can do:

There is perhaps another solution if you want to open a VWD scene in batch because the previous solution does not restore the VWD animations in the scene. If you want, I can create a very simple Daz Script which restore the textures and the animation. This script would correspond to the script played by the "Restore Mats and Animations" button in the VWD interface. If you want, I can post this script in the Free Stuff.

I can pass on the script, the method I've found works for essentially everything. Static renders and animations, using the duplicate node it'll follow the animation and replace the material with it being there after closing and re-opening daz.
