Hi, thank you for taking the time to read this post. I have an FBX figure I'm importing into poser, fully rigged and animated. The animation that is embedded in the file is the figure walking in place, and it's 41 frames long. My problem is that I have my scene set up exactly the way I want it, but when I import the FBX file, I need to move that figure to the right on the X axis one unit. When I do that in frame 1, he slowly scoots his way back to the left to arrive at frame 41.
This problem is compounded by the fact that I have several other FBX figures with the exact same animation I want to load into the scene, and have them all start at different places so it looks like they're walking together. How do I translate the figures to start their animation where I want them to be, without having to do this for each frame?

I'm not an animator, so I don't know if there's a better option, but until a better idea comes along, what I'd probably do, is parent the figure to another object (like a cube that's set to not render) and move the cube. The figure will "think" it's still centered because it's still in the same location in relation to the cube, and the cube isn't moving so the figure should stay where it is on the x axis.

Best thing to do is to move the body and not any of the parts below the body. Make sure that all the keys for the body are deleted to prevent the slide back to the start.
