I have a slew of DAZ models and I use them regularly. Recently however many models that I used to use without a problem simply will not open. I track down the item in explorer and try to have Poser open the ,cr2 file but nothing works. All I get are those little "plus signs" on the screen showing where the item should be. My runtimes are not all centrally located, but they have never been and I never used to have these problems. Could someone please explain in the least techie way possible how I can get these models to function again?

Have you tried rebooting your system?

This has been gong on or a while now and the system has been rebooted several times. In an abundance of caution I rebooted it once more before responding and the model is still not showing up in Poser.moonshine explorer.PNG moonshine ground.PNG

Humph. Have you tried dropping the invisible figures to floor? Do the invisible figures appear in the hierarchy editor as visible (little eye icon on)? In the parameters what is the scale showing as on the Body of the invisible figures?

Also... when you load the offending figure is there a nag from poser to locate a file? Are you loading the figures from the Poser library or in some other manner?

Edit; Nevermind on the library question, I see it in your screenshot.

I'm wondering if the construct is blocking the set.

May very well be if she's loading a floor object.

When I load an item and it doesn't display, I look at the obj file. It's usually zero. I think this only happens to me after I've converted clothes from one character to another using CrossDresser. To fix, I have to move the object file to where the cr2 is looking for it and then convert it again.

This doesn't sound like your problem, but I'd look at the object file anyway.
