Now i can see changes that i make almost in real time. The really awesome thing is you can see your changes immediately take effect unlike when you modify things in the poser material room the old way. This is good for me because i get immediate feedback about changes so i am actually learning how to do things and what the dials do because i can see the effects straight away. Last night i changed skin specular to 1.5 and I set diffuse to an off white light brown colour using the skin edit script and was really pleased with how that looked on LF. I tried a render with toon lines and it looked so good for my comic making. Anyway, it just shows we can all learn even if we have been doing it for years. I never ventured much into the material room before except when i had to, and there are still many things i don't know, but this little script has helped my understanding a lot. i'm one of those people that uses a lot of premade stuff and doesn't modify things much normally. I don't like to interfere. haha.
I aim to update it about once a month. Oh, and it's free!

Not heard of it. Does it work in P11? I haven't changed over to 12 yet.

Only built for P12 I'm afraid.

Ken is making all kinds of scripts for Poser 12.
Though I don't understand that bit about seeing the changes in real time. Isn't that how it usually works? Or is that just for Firefly? One of the issues I have with Superfly is that with a lot of Superfly shaders, you can't see what it looks like until you render. I can't imagine a script could fix that, though.

well when you change the skin you can change the whole skin not just face or trunk etc so you make a change, then see it in preview immediately affecting the whole figure, then you can render. Well fo rme I can see how things look really quickly whereas it is hard to get the idea if it is just arms or something.

Got it. Makes sense!
I considered buying that script, but I'm not ready to commit to Superfly or Poser 12 full time yet. I have Poser 12, but still use mostly Poser 11 (and Firefly instead of Superfly).
