Have been doing some consolidating, throwing stuff out, etc... Came across this little gem I thought I'd lost...

Kinda makes me want to reinstall Blender 2.0 just to go through and remember how different it was. Heh.

Thanks for the share TwoCatsYelling I think I started with 2.49 and did not come back to Blender till 2.51 which is about the time I became the coordinator for this forum so many years ago

Yeah!

I did install 2.04, and yeah, it was different alright.

Interestingly, 2.03 - the version included with the book - isn't in the downloads on blender.org.

Interesting I looked at the archived of all their builds and I do not see that one listed see a few others

Interesting. I think I started looking at blender at 2.6something and ran screaming from it. I don't think it was until the late 2.7xs that I finally decided I wasn't going to let it beat me any longer.

I like learning from books.
Unfortunately with the numerous changes in Blender since 2.8 a book on Blender would quickly be obsolete.
