Hi, How do you create custom *.rsr files, so that thumbnails for clothing look nicer? Thanks! Magnet

Take what ever object you have up on the screen, render it the way you like and position it the way you like, click on one of your libraries, and click the plus symbol at the bottom of the library. SC

Thank you, I have tried this but in the instance of doing so with clothing, it only saves the image pre-rendered, so unfortunately the thumbnails with show translucent body parts due to my texure mapping.

magnet, here's a trick I learned here in the forum... Render your image the way you want... then copy the image and paste it on to the background... Have the figure you want to save in the library selected, and move the camera so that only the background image shows and THEN save the figure. Voila! :)

You can use Harper's little RSR convert program to do it. Render the picture your want as a square and save it as a PICT file. Resize it to 91x91 and the program will convert it to an RSR for you. PP8 does not know from *.PIC but PSP does, Painter6 does and I bet PS does. I guess you could always save it out of Poser 91x91, but I think the directions suggest ~ 400x400 and then resize. maybe so you could do a composite if you wish.
