For most of us Poser is all about people, animals and fantasy creatures. Being a virtual photography studio, however, makes it perfect for still life images as well.

Still life is usually defined as art depicting inanimate objects and there are many variations on this theme. Flowers,  food, vases, bottles, glasses, books, musical instruments, statuettes and many other elements are popular choices. Placed in an orderly of chaotic manner on tables, ledges with curtains or tablecloths the emphasis is on composition and lighting of these scenes. Many times the choice of objects is such as to tell a story, other times it's just for pure aesthetic pleasure.
