..and if so, was it worth the money? I'm looking for a similar character but I'm hesitant to buy it because I haven't heard anything, good or bad, about it. I really dont like Daz's misleading way of doing business -- none of their characters come with texture maps -- its just another way of milking you out of more money. Other than that their products, for the most part, are great. Trying to decide between the Creeper and the Treant.

It is pretty cool. Depends on what you are going to do though S Misleading way of doing business? It isn't misleading. It says right there on the page that the texture is sold seperately and is on a linked page. Nothing misleading about that. To be honest I like both the figures. Haven't used em much for final things but they are good fun.

I have it and like it. also there are some free textures in the free stuff area of either this community or one of the other Poser sites. another good thing is it works with the walk designer

You might as well PAY attention, because you can't afford FREE speech

I love both of them too, and I got the texture map for the creeper from both Daz and the free one that's available. Marque

I bought the creeper quite some time back and though I've not used it for much so far it's fun to muck around with. It's quite a nice figure but I think it really depends on what you want to do with it and how much you are going to use it. I bought it on impulse and it was not wisely spent money. Also, there are a variety of other "monster" style critters out there in free land. Have you looked around for any? I'm not sure what you mean by "misleading way", as Ghost says, it's clearly mentioned on the relevant web pages. In respect of that also remember that unlike some people on this and other communities DAZ/Zygote are a business, they are there specifically to make money in order to pay salaries/overheads/etc and to make profit. When in that sort of situation you make profit as best as possible, if that means selling tex maps seperately, well, it's not like DAZ are unique in that method. :)
