Hello, is it possible to convert an LWO file to an OBJ file so it can be utilized with Headus UV Layout?

Yes, you can export an OBJ directly from LightWave Modeler; depending on what version of lLightWave you're using, LW's OBJ export can be rather lackluster.
My preferred method for converting an LWO to an OBJ is using Blender. You'll need a slightly older version Blender, as they dropped support for the LWO import plug-in a few versions back. I'm not sure exactly which version they dropped it from, I know that LWO support in Blender 2.49b is good tho [that's what I keep around to use for LWO->OBJ when needed].

Thanks Warlock, downloaded Blender 2.49b, unfortunately it won't run on Mac OS Catalina. I'll try exporting it from Modeler. I don't really want to use LW's UV mapper feature, I just need to be able to convert from LWO to OBJ so it can be used with a third party UVMapper such as Headus UV Layout.

There's an import addon for LWO available for Blender 2.8-2.9 on Github. I haven't tested it. But perhaps it would be helpful?
