Inspired by artwork by Vadim Voitekhovitch at DeviantArt, I'm playing around with building a steampunk airship figure. Here are the beginnings.

I began mimicking a design from a particular images, then incorporated features from other images, and then added design fillers. There's no obvious logic behind the mechanisms. The airship is more a passenger vessel than a warship but carries guns atop the bridge for self-defense.
