Hi guys.

4 days ago I did a

"Poser Update: Poser 12.0.757 Released".

The problem is there is no Material room.I mean if I want to change the "ambient value" (etc, etc) of the "body" or clothes I can not do it.

It does not appear "The Edit view of the Material room is where you build shaders by working with nodes".

Can someone solve this problem?

I don't understand the question. What happens when you click on the 'Material' tab, clearly visible on your screenshot above? The one right next to the Pose tab?

He's clearly in the Material Room because if you open the image into another browser tab, the Poser Material tab is active.  Follow these instructions: Open the menu under Window in the Poser upper taskbar, go down to and click on Room Tools (should be third entry from the bottom), click on Material, and make sure the Material Palette is checked on.  Otherwise, it will not be open for use.  I suggest that you manually close Animation Controls, the Message Log panel, and perhaps the Display Style panel unless you really need it.  I never had any use for those in the Material Room and I've also closed the Parameter/Properties panel as well.  Your Preview Window is undocked so I recommend that you lock it down some place so it won't get in the way.

UI dots are SOOOOO helpful when rooms get screwed up. I've had to go into General Preferences and, under the Documents tab, click on Launch to Factory scene. Then I close and restart Poser. All rooms should be at their defaults.

Next, I set UI dots in the Pose room and Material Room, so if I mess up again, I'll only need to click the dots to go back to the default setup. I also make changes I want in those rooms (my default preferences) and set other UI dots for them.

Once I've gotten what I want in the Pose room, I go back in General Preferences and click Set Preferred Scene and then Launch to Preferred Scene.

Thank you. Helped me, too.

My P_11 UI is often deranged by low-flying cats or just a clumsy click. I can see how that would be much worse in P_12...
