I have a question,
I'm just now getting my new computer re-setup as it was a mess and had to change allot for it to work correctly including moving all my Runtimes to another drive so I could free up much needed space on the C drive (SSD drive so not allot of space).
So now my Runtimes are over on my H drive. But of course the previously saved file for Poser 11 is still in memory and it can't find anything. I'm cool with that, I have all the settings for my current WIP "Jon for LH" saved so reloading all that up isn't a worry for me but what I'm a little distressed about is that I also want the default Poser Content to be installed into the Poser 11 Content folder on the H drive when reinstalling Poser 11.
Well what has been happening (I tried this THREE TIMES) is that I point the installer for installing the content to the Poser 11 Content Folder but all it's doing is creating a folder within that folder, so basically I have two runtimes and I don't want that, I want the content completely integrated with my existing Poser 11 Runtime.
So I need a correct path to make this happen because I'm a dunderhead and can't figure this out.
See below, the folder that's highlighted has a full Runtime inside it that Poser 11 looks at but see that it's INSIDE the Poser 11 Content folder and on the second row you see the Runtime for Poser 11 (which is the full runtime that has stuff from years and years ago and new stuff for L'F and L'H).
Thanks for the help, much appreciated.

I'm surprised that redirecting the install pathway to Poser 11 Content is ignoring its runtime folder and creating a new folder. Or is that a folder of your own design? I'm a little confused that Poser has generated a new folder, I would assume that it would dump the content into the folder you have specified. When you did your installation, did you specifically instruct Poser to use the Poser 11 Content folder? I'm fishing for some clarification. Also, that 'My Library' folder doesn't belong there, the runtime folder within it is not technically linked to Poser in a correct way. You have a runtime nested within a runtime.

You might need to edit the poser.ini file. That has a content install path. You can find it in C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\Poser\11. Of course back it up first in case something gets messed up

Yea, of the three times I've installed Poser 11 trying to get it to install the default content into the current Poser 11 runtime I've left it as Poser 11 Content and then my last attempt I shorted it to Poser Content and was hoping for it to at least install to the Users>Public>Public Documents but it STILL installed to the Poser 11 Content folder. It's very strange behavior
I'll look at the ini file and see if I can edit from there then. Thanks!

At the top of the page, on the right, click on the drop-down menu by your name. Go to settings. There will be a horizontal menu starting with the words My Settings. Click on forums.

Well I had zero luck in getting my Poser 11 default content to install into my current Poser 11 Content folder so I settled for it being just "Poser Content" outside of the Poser 11 and Poser 12 directories. So strange that all my attempts at getting just the right path inputted into the path box just didn't work. On my last attempt it landed outside the main directory and at that point I gave up and just let it be. LOL
The one labeled just "Poser Content" is it now. So I have FOUR content folders for Poser now! LOL Oh well.....

So big deal, I have over 30 runtime folders linked to my P11 and P12. I can live with it. If I desperately need content that I use on a regular basis, I can add it to the Favorites tab of the Library and have easy access to it from any runtime.
