I wonder if someone can explain an annoying intermittent problem I have with Poser 11. It's bothered me for some time but I finally got fed up and had to ask.

Sometimes when I want to move an object using the Direct Manipulation tool, no matter where I drag. the direction arrows or the center point, I can only rotate the object. The cursor still shows the crossed-arrows. But no matter how careful I am to select a an arrow on the manipulator, the object only tumbles around in place.

This doesn't happen constantly but often enough to be annoying. It seems to be something about the object I'm trying to move. An object that tumbles once usually does it every time. A major offender is dear old Andy 2. I like to use him as a measuring tool when scaling imported objects. But I'm hanged if I can get him to move without resorting to the parameter dials.

Anyone know what's happening?
