I brought this up in the other Poser forum, am hoping someone who works for the company can officially answer my question:
There's a sale on Poser 11 going on right now, and I'm interested in making a purchase. However, the system requirements state that you need Win10.
I recall a long time ago, that Poser 11 should run under Windows 7, which is the operating system that I currently use (and will probably stick with for a very very long time, since I'm not a fan of the later OS versions).
Obviously I don't want to waste my money on buying the software unless I know for sure it's going to run properly on my machine. Can anyone from Renderosity (Bondware?) either confirm it will run fine or point me to a download for a trial version of Poser 11 so that I can test run it first?
Thank you!

This is my suggestion, go here and submit a support ticket about your concerns and hope that someone responds with an appropriate answer. As other forum users reported, Poser 11 does operate under Windows 7. The only drawbacks are the current Nvidia graphic cards to handle GPU rendering and enough RAM memory. Windows 7 is not mentioned under the required operating system because no more extended Microsoft support exists. No updates nor security leak patches. You may have lost the opportunity to upgrade to Windows 10 for free but that's another issue. Try the link I provided, hopefully, someone with respond in good time. Good luck.

It probably works today. Since both Win7 and P11 are EOL they may not tomorrow and if something breaks in either there won't be any fixes.

Quick update: I just made my purchase and wanted again to thank the community for their help, including those that emailed me directly. And now to start some "posering" in version 11... just gotta find that "Make Art" button in the user interface... (kidding)

Sorry, that button was removed when Wardrobe Wizard was retired. There was a python script that came with wardrobe wizard that was called make art and literally did just that. But when the creator retired, so was the script. It's more fun to dig in and get your hands dirty anyhow. Hope it's everything you hope for and more.just gotta find that "Make Art" button in the user interface... (kidding)
