Why does my poser.rsr file keep getting bigger and bigger and bigger? Mike

This is interesting... which RSR file? You do know that you can delete it: (so long as you do not delete the OBJ Mesh) and Poser will access the OBJ instead, and create a new RSR file...

It's called 'poser.rsr'. It's in the main Poser directory and I don't think it has anything to do with OBJs. I think it may be a programming legacy from the Mac version of Poser, kind of a .dll (this is, of course, a shot in the dark). Mike

oh don't delete that it needs it.....infact back it up coz if poser locks up and you need to do a ctlr alt delete it can mess up the rsr and poser won't start :o(.......Steve

Yup, what steve said. At least with version 3, I found that replacing this file with a backup after a fatal lockup & crash would allow Poser to re-start and avoid a complete re-install.
