The lighting, the scene, all are the same. But her hair looks bad in the second image. It's not the same as the first. The only thing I did different is change the pose and ran all the cloth and hair sims. The camera angle is a bit different, and I am not sure if I used the posing camera for the first image or not.

But what could cause such a drastic color difference in her hair?

Looks like the yellow hair is interacting with perhaps blue lighting in the scene.

Hair sim? something changed between both pics? I mean a parameter in hair sim?
Or are all the lights remaining untouched between both pics? for example a light that was parented to something that changed at the end of the sim?

There are no blue lights in the scene. All are either white or gray...

I didn't make any changes to the lighting or the props in the scene.

I did add the EZDome. Perhaps that did something. I will check out the materials and see what I am dealing with. I've used the HDRI before and didn't have any effect on the hair.

No, I don't parent lights to anything in my scenes. I think maybe it was the EZDome. The blue in the sky was affecting her hair. I took it out and I am running another render to see...
