part of the work i do for my comics is working with fairy's. so i made the figures up and scaled them down before saving them and mostly this works fine. however some poses make them go back to full scale and this becomes a pain. dose anyone have any advice about this? or am i better using full size characters and scaling up all the scenary?  (however i cannot do that when i have fairy's interactiong with humans size people)

Unfortunately, the only thing to do is resave the pose without including the scales. And remember the size of your fairies so you can fix them easily when you find a new one.

I think i have a way around this, but ill ask here before i try it as it seems alot of work.

If i scale down the figures in Blender and then put them back in poser and re-rig them would that solve the problem of scaling up with poses?

It may work: a pose file simple reset the scale parameters back to 100%, if the parameters are stored in it.
That being said, many pose files also moves the figure/prop back to the origin as well, and it's so wrong to do so.

So that, in this case, you may use a text editor to remove the parameters from the PZ2 file, a text editor or PoserEd.

what about saving your fairies off into a folder in the Characters library and giving them a name with an _ and the percentage size (i.e. fairy1_10 for 10%) That way if it goes to full size when you pose it at least you'll remember what scale to go to. It might mean a bit of repositioning though.

Just an idea.

I have all the fairy's saved so i can reload them at any time at the 40% scale. the issue is some poses trigger the whole thing to scale up and that messes with the hair and clothes so it can get pretty messy depending on how much i have in a scene. the V4 fairys work great its the Mike 3 ones that play up mostly

You could try changing the master scale dial so that it is locked at the scale you have set... right click on the scale dial, go into settings, and make both the Min Limit and Max Limit the same number, in this case, 40. That should lock them at the size you need
