Heyas, I've finally finished my last set of projects. (well almost). I was just wondering if there was anything that y'all were interested in seeing. I mostly make textures - but do some characters (no modeling). Things I've been thinking about doing: More men for poser. More textures for Mike's clothing. Finishing off my "Shades of Mike" project (3 of 12 hoped for textures created). Textures for the DAZ centaur. Textures for the dog and dolphin. More 'horses of colour'. "Ethnic" clothing textures for the p4 wardrobe. Carousel textures for the horse (and other critters?). Textures for Lemurteks anthro characters. Finally finish setting up base Elfquest characters (male and female) and finish Cutter. Starting the "normal people" character set. So if anyone says, for example, "Oh do carousel textures first!" I might. And if you have any other ideas - or specific for something - feel free to throw them in there. Oh - and these will be for freestuff. :) Lyrra "Why? Because I can!" Madril

Lyrra, last year you were working on real nice castle textures... which I never saw posted anywhere. Was that project finished? Or did I blink and miss it? What I'd like to see are more authentic period textures for stuff: people, props, whatever, with logical remapping so everyone can join in and play. There are some excellent models, but I don't yet have the knack in UVMapper for mapping various subgroups using different procedures (planar, spherical, whatever) and then arranging them for maximum detail on the areas which count. Thanks for making such nice materials! Carolly

we could use some lacerated, crusted-over, scabbed-up, nasty necrotic textures for the P4 male and female.......

Hauksdottir, I wrote a whole long message and then IE crashed. (grrrr) I hate to tell ya - but the castle textures were made, and donated to Verdie of Dreamspinner to be sold, so she can cover her medical expenses. Sorry :( You'll need to buy the set from her when they're up. BUT I will have a bunch of other texture (and characters) for download as soon as I get new permanent webspace. Probably in a month or so. One of my new texture kits is called "Dark Ages" and has a number of textiles (in different colors), as well as various armour treatments. I'm thinking of making a "Dark Ages Surfaces" companion kit that will have other period textures like cast iron, wood, canvas, and distressed variations. I've been playing with UVmapper (working on those anthro textures) so if you can send a list of links to FREE props I'll look to see if there's something I want to texture. :) Marque, Give me specific ideas! :) Like, Indian, chinese, Andean, Mexican, New York (mostly kidding), and pictures if you've got 'em. I made two african influenced vicki dresses a while back. That was kinda what I was thinking about. Remember I can't model! And all the cool free clothes were from Poserworld :( so I'm not sure if I can/should use those. Lyrra

Actually you could make textures to work with the poserworld cd clothes...course only people who have the cd would be able to use them. I'm thinking African, Gypsy, I would love some Gypsy textures! And New York textures would be great...lol Mexican would be cool too. Thanks for being so generous, and...don't forget..Gypsy! lol Marque

Marque - she's getting MARRIED on Saturday... and you want Gypsy clothes? Aren't you supposed to be making almond fu-fu's for the reception?
Lyrra posted Thu, 17 May 2001 at 8:45 PM
Except for the teensy fact that I don't have the PoserWorld CD. :) But Gypsy. Hmmmm. I can work with that. Traditional, or Hollywood? :)
bjbrown posted Thu, 17 May 2001 at 9:12 PM
Mike needs textures.
Marque posted Thu, 17 May 2001 at 10:15 PM
Traditional of course, and of course include Mike. lol She's wearing me out, I'm ready to run away with the gypsies!

Some more Vicky textures would be good. Considering how many there are for Posette, very few for V.
bjbrown posted Fri, 18 May 2001 at 11:17 AM
On a quick count through free stuff, I found 19 Vicki textures, and only 2 Mike textures.

Hmmmm, I know what I would vote for, but I guess I'm biased! :) Regards- Lemurtek

Worry not Lemur! Textures for all your wonderful anthro characters are in the works. Including a cr2 to make Krysta and whatshisname into horses instead of zebras. Fiddling with Daio's tail transmap on a chopped tail cr2 that Bloodsong made. Bleah. The technical stuff has been holding me up on that :P The textures are easy :) For krysta/??: bayhorse, black plain, black w/markings, pinto, grey dapple, 'unicorn', and maybe one of my horse-of-colour. For the 9head cat people: siamese, tabby, tuxedo, lion, jaguar, leopard, snow leopard, grey mammal, brown mammal, fox, raccoon For Lionheart: lion, african lion (dark), albino lion? cougar, liger? Did I miss anything? I am planning on a bunch of mike textures - right now I have 5 - plain caucasian, african (med), alien (blue reptile), scarred stubbled caucasian, and freckled redhead. Planning on 8 more - so make suggestions, send me pictures. NOT planning any with facial hair (except maybe stubble). So I'm working on the redhead's texture last night and my roommate walks in and sees this upclose zoom of his groinal regions and freaks out. :) How do you explain that you were just painting his pubic hair and wanted to check alignment? 9 headed cat people!?! Agh! Run! :) Sounds cool Lyrra! Say, did you say you remapped Tobi/Thomas? If so could you send me the UVS file out of UVMapper (if that's what you used) just so I'm on the same page on this. Regards- Lemurtek, never been caught painting pubic hair! :)
Lyrra posted Sat, 19 May 2001 at 2:59 AM
Lemur, I haven't remapped them yet, although I plan to. Your guys and the shades of mike are my two carry over projects- after I finished the other 8. :) And I will make sure to send you the UVs :)

Lyrra, OK, I should check Dreamspinners' site when finances resolve (my job situation is iffy). The plans sound good. Carolly
