How do the Votes work I can only vote on my own art and no other artwork 🤔

@malc27
You have used your 5 votes already, you have no more votes available.

Is there a way we can find out how many votes our entries got out of the total cast vs the number the winners got? I don't want to quarrel over the numbers, I just want an idea how I stand overall.
If not, I understand. These contests can be difficult enough to run as they are.

Always after a contest here at Renderosity happens something very strange.
No comments about the pictures!
And no one is speaking about all the nice pictures which were not winners but were voted by many people and the creators will never know it.
I thought it could be a nice idea, if everybody who likes to do so names his 3 favourite pictures and write some words why they like these pictures.
There are very few discussions here with some nice words about the quality of 3d Renders which I find very strange for a 3d forum.
I would like to make the beginning.
1. is for me the nr.271, the Road by Rburgess1961
His picture is very different from the rest.
The idea is very original and well executed.
It has this type of quality, that I would like
to put it as a poster at the wall in my living room.
It could be a professional movie poster from the 60s.
The choice making it in B/W was perfect.
2. is for me the nr.477, the red rider by phantom11
It looks like a classic pin up photo from the 50s
If I would make this picture in my photo studio,
I would light the scene exactly like this.
The light is perfect for the skin, the face and the reflections
Her pose is very dynamic and the facial expression very natural.
A picture like this will help a lot, selling a scooter.
3. is for me the nr.21, Not AmuseD by twingo
This is an extremely good render.
I don't know how much post work is done.
The colors, the pose and the facial expression
are extremely good, but the best is the light
and the use of shadows on her skin and dress.
This quality is not very often seen here at Rendo.
I really want to believe that this is a real 3d Render.

antony1, I'll play along!
A quick note, this is not necessarily how I voted. My voting exhibited some bias toward myself and a friend.
To your challenge; I find the word "Pin-up" in the contest title compelling. To me, pin-up style has to include one of several design ques. 1. simple background and a straight-forward presentation of beauty and/or sensuality. 2. caught in an awkward or compromised situation by unfortunate timing. 3. having a ridiculous amount of fun in some way. Classic pin-ups always seem to include at least one of these. If I can't see the face, if the background overwhelms the model, or if it wouldn't present well on the side of a bomber, to me it's not top-shelf. Based on this, I have to throw out 4 of my own entries.
Others may find their own design ques to define pin-up. With my feelings close to heart and free of the above admitted personal bias, I would offer the following 3 (in no particular order):
#239 Kitty Kitty Bang Bang by marcopol - while it's a little busy for the side of a bomber, it is simple, straight-forward, and she is clearly having a lot of fun shooting it out with her cat from the back of a very silly warhorse indeed! What a fun pin-up!
#517 Heat by PhithaloBlue - simple background, straight-forward presentation of sensuality, caught at a disadvantage (not that she seems the least bit concerned), presents well on the side of a bomber, ticks all the boxes and some of them more than once! Well done!
#689 Robyn on Her Harley by WolaverJS (me) - simple background, straight-forward presentation of beauty, caught at a disadvantage (though she doesn't look worried). Yes, the shadow would have to lighten up to present well on the side of a bomber.
There were a lot of others that I could easily praise here but I agree that three is a good number to ask for. Thank you for raising this challenge, antony1!
