I'd like to install Poser 12 on 2 computers. I'd only only use it on one at a time and no-one else would use it on either machine. I don't know if this is allowed under the licence conditions.

I have it installed on 3 computers.  You can only use one at a time.  And there is a time limit as to when you can install it on another computer if for some reason you need to change where it is installed.  I don't know what that time limit is.

I don't think there is a time limit at all.  It was a while before I loaded P12 on my second computer.

The time limit applies if you try to install on more then 3 computers.

Thank you for your replies, it makes things clearer.

I assume that if you want to install on a fourth computer you have to de-install from another one. I don't expect that I will but the reason I am thinking of installing on a second is because the computer I am using now is fairly old and getting a bit unreliable. If it does fail completely and I can't de-install from it I would still have two installations I could use.   

There is no de-installation like there was for Poser 11 when it was sold by Smith Micro.  You just can't install on multiple computers in a short time span.  So if you install on the 3 computers and one dies as long as it has been a while since you last installed and ran it you should be fine.  What they don't want is for you to install on 25 computers in a couple of days.

Should / Could there be a discount for a full second license ??

You can always ask the sales team.  I know if you buy a number of them (for something like a computer lab at a school) they have a discount.
