Let me first explain, what I mean. My P11 Pro has version 11.3.818 and I guess this is the newest update. Say when I'm not right.

I experienced for older builts on Win11, that die P11 installation got gradually unusable. It started first, that [1] the original Poser icon wasn't visible at the task bar any more but just an anonymous one, which can't be pinned. After that [2] the library startup hanged more and more, that it eventually blocked the Poser performance fully. The only solution was a full new installation, until the problem occrred again after many weeks.

For my current built (see above) i reached now state [1] and had today a slower but still acceptable delay on library startup. What is the recipe to fix this? New installation takes longer although it is more automized now. I always need to redo some hacks for my personal PoserScript installation, when a new installation is over.

Are there alternatives for re-installation instead of migration to P12 ;-) ?

TIA / Gunnar

Now the state of my installation is a little more worse than described after 30 mins. Library pane: only the figures part is visisble and its startup is now still in process. Opening of folders of figures part isn't possible. :-(

During my 3rd P11pro-start the libray got fully usable now. :-)
But the case is still disturbing.

Sound like a hard drive starting to fail.

Don't know if relevant, but I recently got weird, long python error at start-up. This was just before 'library' opens. I closed Poser from my default scene, re-opened, was okay...

Mind you, I'd a lot of Chrome tabs up, and recent update there now 'sleeps' tabs, so...

Um, silly question, but how long since you did a full restart on PC ?? There's a bunch of updates about...

In terms of PC start-up I'm a lazy guy (one per week). Your comment sounds interesting.

You'd better have at least a check of your hard drive (and ev. replace your hard rive), and the most recent backups at your fingertips.
