Subject: Is Poser 13 free for current owners of Poser 12 Pro?

I own Poser 12 Pro. I would like Poser 13. Below is what I read when I went to the download page.
"Thanks for your interest in Poser. You can download and evaluate the app at any time. The app includes a 21-day free trial period after which you will be prompted to purchase a license and receive your serial number. You will need this serial number to register and download the additional content included with Poser. Please protect your serial number. Usage of the serial number beyond the allowed number of seats or excessive content downloads may temporarily disable your ability to use the software."

Do I have to pay for Poser 13 after the 21-day trial period expires? Thanks

Yes you do have to pay for it. Poser has never offered free upgrades in any version. Also, there is no Poser 12 Pro - do you mean Poser 2012 Pro or Poser 12?


If it is Poser 12, you can purchase an upgrade for a lower price.

To upgrade from Poser 12 to Poser 13 is $99 instead of $249.  Search the marketplace for Poser 13 upgrade.

Thanks. Not bad. I thought I would have to pay $249. I'll download the trial and see if it's worth it.
