From the Morphing Primitives participate a Square. You take that as a parent!!!!
Then you add a square rotated 90 degrees in the x axis. You set this up with a transparency of 1.1 - 1.2 or 1.3. Then duplicate it and set it "in front" in the z-axis 10 to 20 mouse clicks on the positioning wheel. Don't forget to assign it to the parent. I have no idea if it takes this setting with you when you duplicate it. So, you do that about 60 to 70 times. :)
Then you have the Fog-Cube a'la Jsenwark. You can then scale, rotate, etc. via the parent. By scaling you can influence the density of the cube. and of course by adjusting the transparency of the squares. it should always be above 1.1 the sqares don't need any color or texture, i just included them for illustration. Red for parent, blue for the "kids".
I can promise that the fog effects are just crazy. The denoiser even makes it look like billowing clouds. !! Look the last Godzilla pic.

Show me an example that looks really good. I haven't seen anything here yet.
Soft volumetric lighting, from my product Level Up! Superfly, that has been in store since 2021. That's a P12 render.

I use Poser 13 on Windows 11 - For Scene set up I use a Geekcom A5 - Ryzen 9 5900HX, with 64 gig ram and 3 TB storage, mini PC with final rendering done on normal sized desktop using an AMD Ryzen Threadipper 1950X CPU, Corsair Hydro H100i CPU cooler, 3XS EVGA GTX 1080i SC with 11g Ram, 4 X 16gig Corsair DDR4 Ram and a Corsair RM 100 PSU . The desktop is in a remote location with rendering done via Queue Manager which gives me a clearer desktop and quieter computer room.

Looks very good. Unfortunately I don't have the slightest idea how something like this is made in Poser. That's why my self-made fog cube.here is the cube using scatter volume this took 297 seconds

You have to adjust the density depending on how big the object is and the effect you want. Note that it's plugged into the VOLUME port, not the surface port.ghostship2 posted at 9:46 PM Sat, 3 June 2023 - #4467088

Smoke + fog + weird place = don't really want to know what's happening there... lol
And yes: smokes are 3D objects, I'm done with those fake plans... Yay ❤ 78" to compute using Poser's optix ultra caustics preset, on my aging 2080.

Next: find a way to modulate the scale of the vertical smoke with... something linear... Could be fun

The smoke coming out of the urn should be scaled up as well. Might also want to lower the emission levels for the smoke. That really depends on the lighting. In the example I show I'm only using the background to light the sceneghostship2 posted at 12:37 PM Sun, 4 June 2023 - #4467133

Ok: two vertical smoke objects, with small differences in their parameters + vertical orientation, a witch, and now I'm happy with the result

That is one versatile carpet!. And your uses of existing primitives is quite creative, as well. The carpet again... the HighRes tablecloth... the ball... doesn't look the way I wanted it to, but I'm out of breath now. Maybe later...
