Wasn't there some software or application that allows you to convert sound/music into a format to be used inside a poser to control the dials?
You would import a sound into this application and it will control Posers dial according to the sound itself.
Thanks

Sounds like you are talking about Daz's Mimic application.

At Daz
I don't really know much about it other than it's primarily for lip sync, requires a character (figure) configuration file for that specific figure, and syncs phonemes morph dials to imported sound files. It's like Poser's own Talk Designer.
It's easy enough to convert a prop to a figure... the rest. ?
There's probably a way to do what you want to do in Poser itself via it's animation tools that doesn't require your prop to have "lips" and phonemes per se. Someone more knowledgeable about animation could extrapolate further I imagine, here or on one of the technical forums.
It would be more helpful if you were more descriptive of what you'd like to explicitly achieve. For example an articulated record player that when a sound file is played dials the stylus to the record and turns the turntable (or vice sersa) or some such.
