Do P_12 or P_13 handle 'gimbal lock' better than P_11 ??

I ask as, having just ported 'Egyptian Tomb Scene' from DS  'minus mummy, minus sarco-lid', then the lid alone, both as OBJ+MTL, the lid refuses to 'play nice'...

Arrives 'standing up': Lay it down, other two axes both rock it identically, neither rotate it...

Yes, this suits tipping lid over side, but not swivelling it neatly...

In the end, I just slid lid lengthwise to near balance point...

If you know the model, I've used my rudiments of 'Cycles' plus my 'Emission' crib sheet to light the pot fires and wall sconces, have added the supplied flame transparency maps, am rendering in Superfly on networked 'Box'...
