Point lights seem not to be working right in Poser 13 Superfly. If changing the "Dist End"  "Dist Start"  it does not show any effect like it does in Firefly, the point light seems to be  lighting up the whole Environment like a Infinite light. Might just be on my side, would be good to know if someone else is having the same issues with this light in superfly. Or is it just not supposed to be a light to be used in superfly?

The start and end distance controls only work for FireFly Renders. SuperFly (Cycles) represents light in a more realistic way. The setting you probably want is the Light attenuation property on the light's properties page. This will make the light intensity drop off in a realistic way.

Actually, it wasn't addressed at all. Because there are ways to duplicate every Firefly light in Superfly

You can do Firefly style point lights in basically any render engine, including Superfly.

The difference, is that you don't use a light to do so in Superfly.

There are some issues with lights in Superfly compared to Cycles, because it is missing a node from cycles.

But fear not, there is a way around it. Actually, multiple ways around it.

Here, I am using a ball prop scaled down to 10%. Which is very close to the size of the Poser point light. It is just out of the scene to the right, not that far from the figures face.

Poof, point light just like in Firefly that cuts off exactly at the distance you set it too..

Yes you need to change some things to get the different falloffs.

This is Monte Carlo style lighting, in Superfly. And it obviously can be done even thou other lights follow PBR..

Everyone using Superfly should learn the LightPath node........
