heyas; and remember to name your txt file after your item, and not something generic like 'readme.txt' ;)

Bloodsong, that is great advice. I wish everyone would do that. Also, for the people who are nice and setup the zip in a way that it can just be unzipped into the poser directory, I wish they would put a copy of the copyright txt in the folder so it drops into poser so it can be found later. I usually take the readme, name it so I know what product it goes for and save it with the model. But sometimes I forget. Also, for the people who only right. "This model is copyright, do not use for commercial...bla bla) that does nothing for my memory. Name the model in the txt file to please. Even those that give us permission to use as we wish. Perhaps even a little clarity on the restrictions as to what can be done with images that are created with the item. Okay, I will shut up now. The readme file has been a pet peeve of mine for a while now.

too right Ms. outlaw... when I unpack a zipped file. they all go into an temp directory.. and the readme.txt get's oe'er written about 3-20 times... depending on the number of unpacks.. it does indeed get a bit difficult sorting through them all.... A few of us have been complaining about this for the past 4 years now.. but shrug .. there's always new people just starting... some of my favourites by the bye... "Eatyerleg.txt" "Readthisthing.txt" and "modeling by....txt" 8 ) CHeers
