heyas; sounds like you need to tell your browser to 'save' zip files, not 'open' them. sadly, i dunno how to tell your browser this :/ actually, i have some extensions on my browser that don't work, and i need to change them, too. can anybody help!? (i have netscape.)

Did the same thing a while back. Haven't figured out how to fix it yet. Most of the freestuff files don't do anything. I click on the download button and nothing happens. The ones I can get are the ones where I'm kicked to another page.

Netscape 4 : Edit --> preferences --> Naviagator --> Applications search in the list at the right side for 'zip compressed data', click on 'edit' and change the settings.

From MS Technet DVD. 1. Double-click on My computer. 2. On the veiw menu, click folder options. 3. On the file types tab, click the appropriate file type(zip or whatever)in the Registered File types box. 4. Click edit. 5. Click to select the confirm open after dowload cheackbox. 6. click OK, and then click OK. Works for IE on windows95,98, and NT.40 worked for me and now the files dowload.
