Hey people
I got an animation file and I just saved and closed poser. Next day, when I tried to open it, after 10 second of loading, Poser just closed without any warning or report. I try to find any logs but cannot find anything. The save file which I got 3 hours ago before this save works fine. To be honest, I never got this kind of bug for years. I did not add anything special, just some more frames to the animation. I tried to open it without morph file but same happened. It's not zipped btw.
Do you know any tricks to save this file and make it working? I use Poser Pro 11 before renderocity era. Thx!

It's likely the file got corrupted somehow and you won't be able to open it. Since it sounds like you have an earlier save, you'll probably have to work with that.

Something changed when you saved it last... change is inevitable, except from a vending machine. I also recommend going back and starting to work on the previously saved version rather than spend time trying to diagnose the corrupt file. Use the Save feature more often, yes, you will have more pz3 files crawling around but once you finish your project you can get rid of them.
Restart your computer, don't run anything but Poser, focus on your animation project.
PS: Okay, you could mess with the compatibility settings and set them as seen below, but like I said your wasting precious time you could've used to progress.

I had one of those corrupt pz3 files once, I loaded it into Poser and as soon as it finished loading, it would just start automatically render by itself. And when it finished rendering and it would start all over, rendering again, and I couldn't break this operation, you know, so I can save the pz3 file, no matter what I tried. I just had to give up on that pz3 file and go to the previously saved file. It's just not worth the time.

Thank you! I though maybe there is a little check or fix for it. Redoing some work is always annoying.
