Hello,
In the Pose Room 'Edit' drop-down menu is 'copy picture'. I couldn't find any information in the Poser Manual and I couldn't get it to do anything! So has anyone any ideas what its for please?
Thanks

This will grab a copy of your last render, instead of copying the currently selected object/node, so that you can paste it in another program (Gimp, 'Shop, Word, LibreOffice, etc...)

It will copy what you see in the scene window (either preview or render) to the clipboard so you can paste it into other software

Just tried it, worked a treat! Very useful.
Thanks again.

Also copies the background, so not the same as a PNG cut-out with transparency. Can be automated in a Python script with a ProcessCommand.
Although it would be better to have the script tell Poser to render a .PNG and then have subprocess call up the destination software to run a loader script native to that software. The loader script would know where to find the .PNG that Poser just rendered...

Thank you, HartyBart. Your response comes from a much higher plane of existence than I'm used to! In the same menu I see there's a 'cut, copy and paste' facility which I've never used. Any comments about their use in relation to a Poser Scene?

Copy in the Pose Room will allow you to transfer parameter settings from one figure to a similar figure containing the same parameter dials. Cut does much the same. This will also include position Translation.
