Hi all, I've finally got myself a new PC and installed all my software. I'm on P10 still but that's going to change soon. Anyway, in the meantime P10 will have to do.

So, I know I've seen this message before but for the life of me I can't remember how to stop it popping up each time I launch Poser. Can anyone remember how to stop it popping up?

Hmm, seems to be something to do with when the external libraries are launched.

Content Paradise has been down for many years now.   Choose yes.

Yes, I choose Yes (which isn't a problem) I was kind of hoping to stop it popping up at all. I've tried the usual certificate updates etc and even tried altering the Trusted Sites but nothing worked.

Go to the Host file , Located in

C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\

Open the host file with a notepad and add this line at the bottom, after adding the line save the hostfile

127.0.0.1 www.contentparadise.com

This will fix the issue with the Popup

In some cases you might also get another error message this one is fixed by adding this line into the hostfile

127.0.0.1 www.producturlsupport.com

After adding these lines as both sites are down you will not get any error again ....

Yep, that'll do it! As soon as you mentioned the host file I got a memory twinge to say I knew about it. A quick search in my 'How to set up Poser'  file I created when I had the same issue when installing my laptop and there it was, at the end of the setup process just after how to get rid of the red outline on the selected item.

Thanks for the info anyway. I'm all up and running!
