Just finished this, what do you think. It's three smart props. The two chain mail pieces are loaded with morphs to make it swing and sway around with the horses movements. There are also length morphs.

Bloodsong - How do you make a prop conforming? I really have no idea how to do it, this is my first real attemot at anything resembling clothing, I usually make buildings:)

Looks good pd.. they usually had a fairely heavy plat at teh horses breast to protect from lance strikes.. foe even though it wasn't cricket.. sometimes the knights missed.. on the head armour.. a sort of built in blinder was used as well.. just thoughts on an excellent model 8 )

heyas; it's pretty easy, pd. first, put the armor on the horse, there, then zero up the horse (use the jp window to zero the pose, then move the hip/body to 0.0.0 trans), and then you can export or assemble all the pieces into one obj. after that, you'll need to slice the mesh... actually, i THINK you could just get away with using the hip, chest, and head. (perhaps abdomen, too). then plug your obj into a horse conformer. if you grab my free horse blanket or harness, use that cr2, because it is all set to conform to the horse. then load it into poser on your horse, and tell it to conform... and see how it turns out :) the upper legs and lower neck will affect the hip and chest area, which is why you might not need to slice leg pieces out of them. you could also see about adding a neck-piece chain mail bit. say, if you have a buncha horse armor links, could you send 'em to me? ;)

Thanks Bloodsong:) Unfortunately it is already uploaded now:) I am planning on doing a fully poseable Head/Neck armour though and will make that a comforming figure. As for links, I never had any for the armour myself. It's just off the top of my head and not meant to be historically correct, just kind of fantasy-useitforwhateveryoulike. Incidentally, did you ever find my Centaur you were looking for. I saw the other day at WarriorDLs site, that creature certainly gets around:)

heyas; oh, okie. :) i have your centaur, i didn't need him. but he stars in his own animation on my gallery, and people were asking where to get him.

Lotsa links, but none to the armour, THAT's what I'm interested in. Looks good.
