Yes, it may seem pointless, but have you ever forgotten to assign an upload to the appropriate album ?
Months or years later you realize that sum of the number of uploads in all of your albums is less than the total number of uploads.
But at present there's no easy way to find the uploads that you forgot to assign to an album.
If alongside your albums there was an 'unassigned'/'no album' album it would be a piece of cake.

My own gallery has 526 uploads - this is the number I get if I tally the totals by section, or if I tally the totals by genre.
But if I tally the totals of all my albums I only get 519.
Meaning that I have 7 uploads not assigned to any album, and no easy way to identify which uploads they are.
So please can you do something to make it easy to identify the uploads that haven't been put in an album.

Thinking a bit more about it an 'unassigned'/'no album' album would be pointless most of the time
But the option, when viewing the Albums tab of your own gallery, to show this 'unassigned'/'no album' album would be, at times, very useful.
