I have just got this figure morph for v4 called teen Becky.

I have got rid of that annoying dullness on the skin ok but finding it difficult to fit clothes. I tried scaling the clothes (above) and that sort of works and i have tried applying the morph to the clothes (not so good) what are the best ways to do this. i am not so good using cloth room tools so looking for something quick and easy.

Rather than scaling the close, you might try the include scales option on the properties pallet. Usually, I use copy morphs and then use the morph brush to touch it up. Not seeing your results I'm guessing I'd start with the smooth brush and then use the tighten or loosen fit brushes. The key to using the brushes is adjusting the magnitude. Many are set too high.

so will that mean i have to save every bit of clothing to use on this figure in a new folder?  as a comic creator i like things to be used as quick as possible. and how do you copy morphs? never come across that

To copy morphs, have your clothing selected then use Figure>Copy Morphs and then in the copy from the pallet, choose Vicky and hit okay. A list of morphs will pop up and pick out the ones you want.

As far as using the clothing for your character, you have 2 choices you can either save the clothing with the morphs once converted or you can copy the morphs each time.

If this character uses a bunch of morphs, like several morphs++, you can condense them down into one morph and save the character that way to make it quicker to copy morphs to clothing. That's what I do for my stories. It may be a little more advanced, but I can help you with it if you want.

got it sorted, although not fully happy with the figure and every new pose the hair goes out of whack and needs reposing but ho-hum.

Is the hair conforming or a prop?  If it is a prop, you will need to parent it to her head.

its prop hair, fine normally when used with V4 but with this it moves so i will try that thanks.

For quick and dirty fix for fitting clothes I always use the Morph Tool "Tighten Fit" set goal to the character and vola :)
