That will use the same credentials that you used to log in a post on this forum. If you can log in here you can log in the Renderosity purchase tab in Poser. It may not look like it but that that login screen is just a web page, displayed in a "tab" from your system web browser.

SO HOW DO I GET AWAY FROM IT AND BE ABLE TO VIEW AND INSTALL MY PURCHASES?

drawn posted Wed, 20 March 2024 at 4:00 PM

Fuddermore, sorry bout all caps above, I put quite a few freebies in my cart and downloaded them and can't get them to install cause do not see them?

Freebies will not appear in the Purchases tab.  Those you download directly from the freebie section onto your hard drive.  I would not recommend using Poser to install them into your runtime folder because some of the vendors do not conform to the hierarchy format in the zip files that have been established for Poser.

ok, hborre, but how can I install the good products I've purchased from Renderosity? with that question barring me access?

Download the files from the website.  You are able to post in the forum, so you have access to the purchased items in your account.

Yeah? I tried both passwords here in PASSWORDS and render stupid won't accept either and will not let me in! WTH?

What do you mean by both passwords? You should only have one password here. It may be a problem with a connection. I believe some older operating systems had issues. Or it may be blocked by a firewall.

You can also download your purchases manually. In the upper right corner click on your name and accounts

then click on my items and either click on the individual downloads or on the download all.

Then unzip to your runtime

Thanks. It’s the unzipping that doesn’t seem to happen. I have no way now to find those unzipped files and see them in libraries…

Is there a way I can say sorry forgot password for this and make a new one and write it down?

It's the same as the site. I'm assuming you stay logged on all the time. If you log out and go to the log in page, there's an option for resetting your password. Just make sure you have access to the email account you used

I have noticed that drawn has downloaded content from Posersoftware.com in one of his screenshots.  You can have different logins and passwords for Posersoftware.com and Renderosity.com.  I do not know if purchasing from one site automatically transfers the information to the next site; I assume it does not.  However, with my Poser 13 app Renderosity login, I can still download content from Posersoftware.com without switching accounts.

oh dear, so simple and I didn't think of it.

thanks, hborre.
