Hello again, I am working on some more updates to the Pro Pack User Guide in preparation for Pro Pack Service Release 2. Aside from the printed vs. electronic format debate (thanks for all of your input on that, BTW), I'd like to ask that anyone who has caught any discrepancies in the User Guide please email me at docs@curiouslabs.com so I can address them over the weekend. I like to think I turn out pretty awesome docs but am never above constructive input! I will track this thread as well as I can, however direct emails to me will definitely get the job done. Thanks as always! Anthony Hernandez Senior Tech Writer Curious LabsGreywolf Starkiller posted Sat, 19 May 2001 at 7:59 AM
Anthony, Has that documentation on the CR2 format ever been completed, or is it still ongoing? Eric

Perhaps information on how to prepare files for upload (to freestuff or store) so that they can be used both by owners of Pro Pack and non-owners.

One thing I've noticed with SP1 is that the Poser files must be resaved from Poser after the SP1 installation for the Max fixes to work. I'd expect the same would apply to the Lightwave plugin, but can't attest to that. This would be a helpfull bit of info to have in the documentation.

Grey: Ongoing. I have the CR2 secton done and am now working on the rest of the files, which should be easy now that the CR2 is done. I really want to finish this thing! I know I keep saying that, but it's true! Doozy: Great idea! I'll include this. While we're on the topic, I've never uploaded characters/poses/etc... I'll research this. Fox: Another great point, which will be added to the doc. :-) Anthony Hernandez Senior Technical Writer Curious Labs
