More times than not, when I load a preset from the Library, Poser quits. Does anyone else have this problem ?Also, what are some other problems you experience in Poser 13 ? I don't remember Poser 11 being this buggy!
Mac OS 14.6.1 Sonoma

Am I the only person using Poser having these problems?

Sorry, I'm on PC, not on Mac so can't help. Have you considered putting in a help ticket?

I did, and they told me to uninstall Poser and install the latest update. So I did, and the problems didn't go away.

Same OS, on Mac Mini M2, Poser freshly updated, I've loaded many characters, props and scenes that were in the Included part: no crash. Safari was even streaming a youtube video at the same time.
Have you any AV that could disturbs Poser while loading anything?

Y-Phil, are you running Sonoma? I got a reply from Poser customer support stating:
"We are currently investigating the Hierarchy Editor drag crash. It's
repeatable here partucularly updating to Sonoma 14.6.1 or higher. It
also occurs in Sequoia 15. Prior to that the crash did not occur in
Ventura 13 or Sonoma 14.5.
In the past
Poser 11 and 12 have become unstable when Sonoma 14 was introduced to
the point that they are unusable in Sonoma 14. It seems that Poser is
getting worse each time they update the Mac OS.
We will continue to investigate why Poser 13 is becoming more unstable with Sonoma 14.6.1 and higher.
You may request a refund of Poser 13 in the meantime.
Sorry for the current inconvenience that is beyond our control with the Mac OS."

What do you mean by AV?
Rhia474 posted Thu, 19 September 2024 at 6:31 PM
Anti-Virus software.
chud posted Thu, 19 September 2024 at 6:39 PM
No anti-virus software. Are you running Sonoma?
Y-Phil posted Fri, 20 September 2024 at 2:34 PM
Yes: Sonoma 14.6.1.
I have to say that my mini is equipped with two screens, and Poser is occupying both. For example, the Hierarchy window is floating on the right screen. I don't know if that influences the situation or not, but upon playing with Poser's "LaFemme default scene", adding stuff, moving them around in the Hierarchy window: no crash, even when I parented LaFemme to her own dress.
The only difference I can see: Mini M1? M2? or the new M3 (if I'm not wrong, it's not yet on Mini's)

I using Mac Mini M2Pro, Sonoma 14.6.1, 32GB, 2TB SSD. I downgraded to Ventura 13.7 and that seems to have cleared the problems up a bit.
